Who Is Eligible For The Active Plus Investor Visa?

To be eligible for the Active Plus Investor Visa, applicants must meet specific criteria:
1. Investment Capital: Applicants are required to invest a minimum of NZD 10 million in New Zealand over a three-year period. These investments may include government bonds, commercial property, and growth investments. 2. Experience:Applicants must demonstrate a history of successful investment experience and be able to provide evidence of their investment track record. 3. Health and Character: Like all New Zealand visa categories, applicants must meet health and character requirements and provide evidence of their good health and character.

Visa Process

The application process for the Active Plus Investor Visa involves two stages:
1. Investor Plus (Investor 1) Resident Visa: Successful applicants are initially granted an Investor Plus Resident Visa, which provides a pathway to permanent residency in New Zealand. This visa is typically valid for three years. 2. Investor Plus (Investor 1) Resident Visa Renewal: After the initial three-year period, visa holders can apply for further renewals, provided they maintain their investment capital and demonstrate their ongoing commitment to New Zealand.
