1. Investment Capital: Applicants are required to invest a minimum of NZD 15 million in New Zealand or in weighted equivalents, such as listed equities, philanthropy endeavors, managed funds, or direct investments.
2. Experience: Applicants must demonstrate a history of successful investment experience and be able to provide evidence of their investment track record.
3. Health and Character: Like all New Zealand visa categories, applicants must meet health and character requirements and provide evidence of their good health and character.
1. Investor Plus (Investor 1) Resident Visa: Successful applicants are initially granted an Investor Plus Resident Visa, which provides a pathway to permanent residency in New Zealand. This visa is typically valid for three years.
2. Investor Plus (Investor 1) Resident Visa Renewal: After the initial three-year period, visa holders can apply for further renewals, provided they maintain their investment capital and demonstrate their ongoing commitment to New Zealand.
