Born in Mumbai, India, Riddhi has been part of multiple cities and cultures. She grew up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates before moving to Melbourne, Australia to pursue her undergraduate education, which she now calls home. She also spent some time working in Singapore and volunteering in Mauritius while she was on her semester breaks from university.
Riddhi pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Accounting, Marketing and Management. She has worked in the immigration industry as Marketing Specialist and Digital Media Manager over the last 6 years, collaborating closely with Registered Migration Agents and Immigration lawyers undertaking the responsibility of deciphering complex immigration terms, and intricate processes, while staying well-informed of the frequent legislative changes. She would devise creative strategies to present this information to the company’s target audience across various platforms. This experience helped her develop a keen interest in the dynamic nature of the immigration industry and since then she has found her calling and is excited to commence her studies to become a Registered Migration Agent.
Having grown up as a third-culture kid and living in numerous places over the years, she has experienced different traditions and cultures that have shaped her into the person she is today. She now endeavours to work in a space where she can enable the same opportunities and experiences for others, doing her bit in creating a more globalised world.
Outside of work, Riddhi enjoys travelling with friends and engaging in adventure activities. On weekends, she loves to explore cafes around Melbourne. She also has a passion for reading, and is currently also learning the Korean language, in which she can read, write, and has elementary speaking proficiency.
