From Monday 4 July 2022, Workforce Australia will be the new employment service, delivered by the Department of Education, Skills, and Employment, taking over from jobactive.
Workforce Australia will work with individuals, businesses, and providers. The objective is to become the front door for government and employment and skills services, helping Australians to find and keep a job, change jobs or create their own job, connecting employers with job seekers, and a refreshed network of providers to deliver tailored case management.
Individuals can access their jobactive account until 8 pm (AEST) on Thursday 30 June 2022. After this time, the jobactive online service will be switched off and the transition to the Workforce Australia Online service will commence.
This planned upgrade will occur between 30 June and 4 July 2022 and during this period, a jobactive account cannot be accessed.
