We welcome the news today that the Government has announced the ‘2021 Resident Visa’. This is a one-off visa, simplifying the pathway to residency for approximately 165,000 migrants who are currently in New Zealand.

The New Zealand Government has announced some changes to Temporary Work visas that will modify how businesses employ foreign workers. The developments include the introduction of a new employer accreditation, a single temporary work visa, and a new employer-led system.
