From 27 November 2023, the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) will change to include a maximum continuous stay and a longer visa length.

Green List wage requirements

Immigration New Zealand has clarified that all Green List Straight to Residence applicants will be required to have a job or job offer that meets the median wage requirement.

Eligibility for the Green List Work to Residence visas and the Care Workforce and Transport Sector Agreements is being extended to include all temporary work visa holders and Critical Purpose Visitor Visa holders with work rights.

From 1 October 2023, an increase in the minimum pay and a new sick leave entitlement for Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) workers will come into effect.
