With the new Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) up and running, Immigration NZ has received over 8,415 employer accreditation applications since 23 May!
Over the last few weeks, Immigration NZ has been analysing the applications and also the work visa applications. As a result and in response to some of the common questions and challenges employers are facing, they have developed some very useful online resources to assist and ensure all the information is provided before the accreditation application is lodged.
It is useful to know that some of the common errors made are:
- Employment agreements missing information including:
- Minimum hours of work
- Maximum number of hours worked before overtime provisions apply
- A detailed description of the work to be performed
- Job check applications did not:
- Run for 14 days
- Include the salary range for the role
