The Victoria Skilled Migration Program is now open to applicants currently living in Victoria and overseas. The visa program provides a pathway to permanent residency in the state of Victoria, Australia.
There are two working visa pathways available:
- Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) – this is a permanent visa for skilled migrants to live and work anywhere in Victoria.
- The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – this is for skilled migrants to live and work in regional Victoria and provides a pathway to permanent residency through the Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191)
Registration of interest
To apply for a visa nomination, applicants will need to first submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) and then be selected on competitive merit. The ROI will be assessed until May 2023.
