Absolute Immigration have been announced as the winners of the Wellbeing Initiative of the Year Award, in the Employee Engagement Category for the 2020 TEMI Global Workforce Management Awards. We are so excited and proud of how our team has come together and supported each other throughout the global pandemic going on right now.
Working in the immigration industry during a global pandemic has been a challenge like no other. With continually changing visa requirements, new travel exemption applications and border closures, our team has been diligently working to provide you with all the latest information and answering any questions you’ve had.
Our team have done an incredible job supporting our clients and answering your questions, explaining visa changes and providing ongoing support. Without their dedication and knowledge we couldn’t continue to have visas processed despite the current border closures, changing requirements and increased scrutiny. We’ve managed to have travel exemptions approved after applicants were unsuccessful applying on their own, and we’ve supported businesses to bring key international employees into Australia and New Zealand to fill skill shortages and create jobs.
Keeping our team motivated and productive throughout the lockdown has been key to all the great work we’ve done and despite the challenges COVID-19 has thrown at the immigration industry, Absolute Immigration are thriving. And we couldn’t have done it without our incredible team.
To keep our team together we developed mental health and wellbeing programs to support our people. We knew we wouldn’t get through these challenges without keeping our team happy and healthy. We introduced a dedicated Wellbeing Champion, implemented daily social zoom calls, had fun spreading the joy with #AIJoyChallenge, and encouraged everyone to take a mental health day off.
We’ve benefited from all of this by becoming closer as a team and more supportive than before. On top of the personal benefits we’ve seen internally, we know our clients have also felt the support from our team through some very confusing times.
So when we found out that we’d won the Wellbeing Initiative of the Year Award, in the Employee Engagement Category by The Employee Mobility Institute we were thrilled! We’re incredibly proud of all that we’ve achieved and continue to grow despite the current difficulties.
