The Points Test applies to several visa categories, including: 

• Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189): For highly skilled migrants. 
• Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190): For individuals nominated by Australian states or territories. 
• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (Subclass 491) Visa: For those intending to work in regional Australia.
