Covid-19 pre-departure test no longer required for NZ

From Tuesday 21 June 2022, evidence of a negative Covid-19 pre-departure test will not be required before entering New Zealand. This decision has been brought forward by six weeks and is welcome news for travellers who are planning their trip.

It is important to note that incoming travellers are still required to take two Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) after they arrive in the country – on day one and day six. These are handed out free of charge to travellers when they are processed through customs.
