Visa Options For Employer Sponsors

482 Temporary Skill Shortage Visa 

The Temporary Skill Shortage employee sponsorship visa allows skilled workers to live and work in Australia for an approved employer temporarily for up to four years. After three years in Australia on a subclass 482 visa, workers and their dependents may be eligible to transition to a Permanent Residency visa.

Employer Sponsor Frequently Asked Questions

An employee sponsored visa is a type of visa that allows foreign nationals to work in a specific country based on sponsorship by an employer.

An employer needs to show that a person in Australia cannot fill your vacancy, the occupation must be on the list of eligible skilled occupations, and you must be an approved sponsor.

To sponsor an employee in Australia, an employer must be an approved sponsor and nominate the employee for the appropriate visa subclass, meeting all eligibility criteria and legal requirements.
