–<\/span><\/p>\n Last year, Alex Kaufman, our Immigration Director of Absolute Immigration Legal, advocated<\/a> for the codified inclusion of the following occupational classifications for the Aged Care sector in an \u2018Industry Labour Agreement\u2019 template:<\/p>\n –<\/span><\/p>\n Through an announcement on 5th May 2023, this has now been realised with a recently concluded template that now allows the sector to access automatic concessions and benefits to ameliorate the skills shortages faced now, and in the near term.<\/p>\n The additional benefits included in the newly concluded Agreement are:<\/p>\n –<\/span><\/p>\n Along with attractive concessions on skills, this presents an immediate opportunity for the sector to address its skill shortage issues.
