The system is under massive strain, trying to deal with the high volume of applications and address the severe skills shortages for a number of critical industries including healthcare, aged care, hospitality, engineering, and IT.<\/p>\n<p>Australia\u2019s economic recovery is relying on the assistance of foreign workers and this needs to be addressed with the utmost urgency.<\/p>\n<p>Visa applications are taking a lot longer to be processed which is impacting both the individual and the prospective employer, if applicable.
