With post-accreditation checks underway by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), it is imperative that AEWV employers are compliant with their obligations.

Thirty-two new health roles have been added to the Green List and all health roles on the Green List will be moved to the Straight to Residence pathway.

Partners of AEWV and ESWV holders can apply for their own work visa or a partnership visa based on their relationship to an AEWV or ESWV holder (the Partner of a Worker Work Visa).

NZ Immigration Updates
Immigration New Zealand announces updates to the List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment for skilled migrant visas and the successful online transition for Permanent Resident Visa applications
Accredited Employers under NZ’s AEWV scheme can now renew online. Renewals last 24 months (12 for some). Apply close to expiry and choose the right type to avoid fees.
NZ’s temporary support for migrant workers on special visas ends Mar 18. No further aid after that, but visa holders can still work legally.
