href=\"https:\/\/www.immigration.govt.nz\/process-to-apply\/applying-for-a-visa\/applying-online\/access-immigration-online\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Immigration Online<\/span><\/a> <\/span>system as INZ\u2019s preferred platform for these visa categories.<\/p><p>Importantly, applications submitted through the enhanced system will receive priority assessment during the transition period. As a result, applicants and immigration professionals may experience faster processing outcomes when lodging through the new platform.<\/p><p>At the same time, applications already submitted through the previous system on or before 31 May 2026 will continue to be processed. Applicants do not need to resubmit applications that have already been lodged.<\/p><p><strong>The previous system will also remain available for applicants who need to:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Complete and submit draft applications already in progress<\/li><li>Communicate with inz about previously submitted applications<\/li><li>Submit other visa applications that still rely on the existing form Consequently, applicants receive clearer guidance about the supporting information and evidence required for their visa application.<\/p><p>In addition, the new system includes Identity Document Reader (IDR) technology, which scans passport details directly into the application form.
