New Zealand’s skilled residence visas have been updated to remove caps and queues, allowing for faster processing of complete applications. An application with all the required evidence will result in a faster process than submitting an incomplete application. Immigration New Zealand (INZ) has a standard ten-working day timeframe for responses to Potentially Prejudicial Information letter (PPI letter).

PPI is issued by Immigration New Zealand (INZ) when there are concerns about a visa application. The letter requests additional information to address these concerns before a decision is made. If required information is not provided within this timeframe, especially for mandatory documents, the application may be declined, and the fee forfeited.

To prevent this, it is essential to submit all required documents, including police certificates, medical certificates, evidence of English proficiency, proof of employment, and qualification certificates, with the application.
