Applications are now open for employer accreditation under the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) scheme.

The AEWV is a new temporary work visa that will replace the Essential Skills Work Visa and Talent (Accredited Employer) Work Visa, when it launches on 4 July 2022. Employers who want to hire migrants on an AEWV will need to be accredited and check that no New Zealanders are available for the job they want to fill before they can hire a migrant. Most jobs will need to pay at least the median wage of $27.76 per hour.

To get accredited you need to meet the criteria to show you will be a good employer for migrants. This criteria varies, depending on your business model. For the latest information and a comprehensive checklist, we recommend you visit the Immigration NZ website here
